VESystems Receives a Three Year Toll Systems Maintenance and Support Contract in Florida

VESystems is pleased to announce the receipt of a three (3) year maintenance and support contract for Lee County’s, Florida LeeWay Violation Enforcement System. The new contract extends VESystems support in Lee County through September 2010.
VESystems implemented the violation enforcement system for the toll agency in 2006. The toll enforcement system includes camera equipment for violation image capture and a back office solution for violation tracking, noticing and payment processing. This effective toll enforcement system allowed LeeWay to remove all the gates from their toll plazas and thereby increasing the vehicle throughput on the agency’s three bridges.
With two (2) years of violation enforcement operations experience in the state of Florida, VESystems’ toll violation solution provides address validation, out of state plate lookup, electronic court interface and statewide interoperability.
