VESystems Implements MACPASS Use at Halifax Stanfield International Airport

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, December 21, 2009

Starting on Monday, December 14th MACPASS transponders may be used to pay for parking at the parking structure at the Halifax Stanfield International Airport.

Uwe Fritz, VESystems Program Manager for the Halifax Project, "We are proud that the Halifax Harbour Bridge Commission selected VESystems to implement this new parking payment system."

MACPASS customers will use their transponder to gain access to the parking structure at the airport. At exit time, the parking fee will be charged to the credit card being used for replenishments on their MACPASS account.

VESystems staff including Steven Law, Roy Tac and Nathan Keeter participated in deploying the new VESystems parking payment solution in Halifax.
