VTX - Image Processing Module

The VTX-IP Image Processing Module automates most time-consuming image enhancement tasks and enables the average image processor to nearly triple the industry production norm and review 900-1,000 images per hour.

The VTX-IP application features an image cropping application that isolates and enhances the license plate area of suitable images. No longer does the image processing clerk have to scan for the license plate in the image and than enhance the plate details for accurate data input. These functions are automatically performed by VTX-IP with 99.9 percent accuracy. The resultant productivity improvements have allowed a staffing reduction of 50 percent on one of our projects, where a staff of 6.25 full-time-equivalent personnel review 600,000 images every month with a 99.99 percent accuracy rate.

The VTX-IP Image Processing Module is capable of storing as many images as required by simply adding inexpensive, additional storage capacity. Currently, one client has an 18-month storage requirement comprised of 60 million images on line. Older violation images can readily be retrieved from archives recorded on DVD.
